This looks way too scary, and nothing I have any desire to do. My son sent me a photo he had someone take as he jumped off a bungee tower in Okinawa, when he was in the service. Oh my gosh! A mother's heart-attacks never end!

Is this you, brave soul? Adventurous woman?

Lol, no, this isn't me—I was 14 weeks pregnant by then and it wouldn't have been a good idea for me to give it a whirl. No, this is my 12-year-old niece Izzy. My other nieces (7 and 5) also went for a ride.

It actually looked super fun, even for a wimp like me. Essentially you are strapped into a harness connected to large rubberband-like straps. You start out standing on a trampoline and start jumping in place. The bands are slowly tightened to the point where you are able to jump super high, yet you're perfectly safe. It's like a turbo trampoline. Sigh...wish I could have gone!
