i love the length and height that you seem to have intentionally conveyed and highlighted in these shots—and how you seem to have purposefully made them all portrait shots to further that.
i love forests. i love being under a canopy of trees and filtered light.
Oh how I would have loved to stroll around this forrest with you...exploring all there is the see. Great shot of the tree hanging over. And my god, how many camera's do you have girl....;-)
I think they're some sort of pine trees, but I'm not sure. These were on Maui at the base of a volcano. This particular area looked just like the continental west, which was really interesting!
Love the feeling into the woods and getting so intune with the nature. The twilight, shadow.... Wow! So satisfying.... I am feeling the rush to have a stroll here:)
"Above all, it's hard learning to live with vivid mental images of scenes I cared for and failed to photograph. It is the edgy existence within me of these unmade images that is the only assurance that the best photographs are yet to be made."

love these shots. the juxtaposition of your size and the giant trees makes a great story.

What amazing trees-what are they? Redwoods come to mind but I am not good at identifying trees! Love the delicate thistle below too.
